Products And Services

  • Design

Freeform Polymers steps in to help in the early stages of the production process which begins with initial design. Bring in your own design file, or simply an idea for a design and our professionals provide the skills and knowledge necessary to make it possible.

  • Prototype

Once the initial design is complete, it is ideal to build a prototype of the final product. Using our Stratasys Objet 260 3D printer, we can print a quality prototype nearly identical to the finished product. This will allow you and your potential customers to experience the look and feel of your product in order to get valuable feedback on your design. Feedback received from these prototypes is crucial before an injection mold is made and production starts on the final product.

  • Manufacture

After the prototype of your product has been effectively tried and tested, a mold is made using the design. These molds are made of dense steel that is durable enough to withstand the pressure and repetition of the plastic injection process. The steel serves as the canvas as our advanced machining equipment engraves the technical design into the thick steel. Molds can also be made through 3D printing, which can be used for small batch manufacturing. Using material that is durable in high temperature, these molds are made much quicker than steel molds while still producing quality molded products. These molds are not as durable as steel molds but are still a viable option for lower volume production jobs.

  • Assembly

Freeform Polymers is a full turnkey service that offers services beyond design and production, so once the raw materials are sourced and parts are manufactured, our assembly team steps in. Our ISO 9001:2015 registered facility, assembles the products with detailed procedures and numerous quality control check points. These quality control measures are implemented to ensure all products conform to our customers exact specifications.

  • Fulfillment

Once production and assembly is complete we will stock, inventory, and ship the finished product to your customers upon request. It can be a difficult process to find a manufacturing partner that fits your standards and shares your goals. Finding a storage and shipping partner with the same level of focus is only added stress. Then those partners will need to work well with each other throughout the whole process. Not to mention staying under budget! With Freeform Polymers, you can check all of these boxes in one productive and affordable stop.

  • Mold Transfer

When an injection mold is created it is important to remember that particular mold is property of the client and not the machine shop in which it was made or the injection molding partner. The value of an injection mold cannot be understated. In many cases a mold is the culmination of years of hard work and design planning. It makes to sense to have high expectations for the ones you trust with storing, handling, and implementing your mold for the injection process. Freeform Polymers knows how important the relationship is with a manufacturing partner. Sometimes those relationships can become strained to the point that a change may be necessary. Whatever the cause may be for changing manufacturers, it can be a detailed and complicated process that has a lot of moving parts. Freeform Polymers offers a mold transfer service to move your one-of-a-kind injection mold to help the mold transfer run much smoother.
